ASSAULT AND BATTERY, § 22when verdict for plaintiffs is against manifest weight of evidence. In action by husband and wife for assault and false imprisonment, alleged to have been committed by defendant managers of store at which plaintiffs had called for purpose of adjusting matter of wife's cancellation of order for certain merchandise as result of delay in delivery thereof, held that verdict for plaintiffs was against manifest weight of evidence.

Appeal from the City Court of East St. Louis; the Hon. WILLIAM F. BORDERS, Judge, presiding.

Reversed and remanded. Heard in this court at the February term, 1944.
