ORDER DENYING PETITION

This is a proper person petition for a writ of mandamus. Petitioner seeks an order compelling the district court to enter a final written order denying his post-conviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus and motion for vindication. We have reviewed the documents submitted in this matter, and without deciding upon the merits of any claims raised therein, we decline to exercise original jurisdiction in this matter. See NRS 34.160 ; NRS 34.170. An appeal has already been docketed in petitioner's case, and this court issued an order on August 10, 2011, directing the district court to enter a final written order. See Lee v. State, Docket No. 58865 (Order Re: Entry of Written Judgment or Order and Record on Appeal, August 10, 2011). Accordingly, we

ORDER the petition DENIED.
