Gaylin A. Larson & Diane M. Larson Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case is on the March 21, 2022 St. Paul, Minnesota trial calendar, and petitioners moved without objection on January 7, 2022 for a continuance. In a call with the parties on January 18 the Court learned that petitioners still hope to resolve the case at IRS Audit Reconsideration. Petitioners report that that part of the IRS has still not assigned anyone to work on the case. Respondent, however, does not object to putting this case on a long-term status-report track. The Court agrees that this may be the most efficient approach, and it is

ORDERED that petitioners' January 7, 2022 motion is granted in that this case is stricken from the Court's March 22, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before May 18, 2022 petitioners shall file a status report to describe the parties' progress toward settlement at IRS Audit Reconsideration.
