Appellants' brief was due to be filed by October 3, 2019. Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed. By order dated October 18, 2019, appellants were ordered to show cause in writing by November 4, 2019, why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a). Appellants did not respond to this court's order. Because appellants failed to timely file a brief in this appeal, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a), 42.3(b).
