DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellants, inter alia, to stay a certain election, pending hearing and determination of from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated August 16, 2012. Separate motion by the appellants, inter alia, in effect, to stay the results of a certain election, pending hearing and determination of an appeal from the order dated August 16, 2012.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies from an order denying reargument; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motions are denied as academic.
