This case for the redetermination of a deficiency, presently set for trial during the Chicago, Illinois, trial session scheduled to begin in that city on February 26, 2024, is before the Court on respondent's motion for continuance, filed January 26, 2024. Giving due regard to the representations contained in that motion, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion is set for hearing at the time, date and place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served October 12, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that the parties need not comply with the obligations imposed upon them in the Standing Pretrial Order, served October 12, 2023.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. The hearing will focus on the future actions the parties intend to take to prepare the case for trial or to resolve it without the need for one.
