Vaishalini Kottali & Hemanth V. Reddi Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Maurice B. Foley, Chief Judge

On September 27, 2021, respondent filed in the above-docketed matter a Motion for Entry of Decision. Therein, respondent asked that the Court enter a decision reflecting no deficiency and no accuracy-related penalty due from petitioners for the 2018 taxable year. However, such would appear to be inconsistent with the underlying notice of deficiency, insofar as the copy of that document attached to the petition herein does not include an accuracy-related penalty.

Accordingly, for purposes of clarification, it is

ORDERED that, on or before October 12, 2021, respondent shall file a supplement to the Motion for Entry of Decision explaining the just-described discrepancy and attaching any relevant supporting documentation.
