RICHARD KING, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Emin Toro Judge

On December 18, 2023, this case was called and recalled during the Court's Miami, Florida, trial session. Petitioner and counsel for respondent appeared and were heard. Petitioner moved to continue the trial. Respondent did not object to a continuance. As discussed during the hearing and agreed to by the parties, the parties were not ready for trial at that time. To give the parties additional time to exchange documents and engage in possible settlement discussions, the Court continued this case and directed the parties to file a status report.

On March 18, 2024, the parties filed Status Reports (Docs. 40 & 41). Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that, on or before July 1, 2024, the parties shall file with the Court either a joint status report (or, if that is not expedient, then separate reports) describing the status of the case or any appropriate motion.
