(230 Cal.App.3d 1235, 281 Cal.Rptr. 691), a letter was published protesting a decision by University of California officials, and plaintiff in particular, to cancel an event known as Filipino College Night because it was scheduled for December 7, 1988, the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
