JAMES H. KIM, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Albert G. Lauber Judge

On March 1, 2023, we directed the parties to file status reports by March 30, 2023, detailing the then-present status of the case. On March 29, 2023, respondent filed a status report representing that "it remains the intent of the parties to move that the Court calendar this case for a remote trial" to consider the remaining issue in the case. On April 13, 2023, the case was calendared for trial during the Court's June 12, 2023, remote trial session. The undersigned will be presiding.

Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that the parties shall file with the Court, on or before May 15, 2023, a status report (jointly if possible, otherwise separately) detailing the then-present status of the case. If the parties wish to request a time and date certain for trial, they may make that request in their status report or by subsequent motion. Otherwise, trial will be set when the case is called from the calendar on June 12, 2023.
