HIGHWAYS AND STREETS, § 544 — injury occasioned by hole in street. Where a hole had existed in a city sidewalk for eight or ten years and pedestrians had tripped in it, the defect was not so slight that the city was not guilty of negligence, and a verdict and judgment of $400 for an eight-year-old child who tripped in the hole and fractured an arm was affirmed.
