BY ORDER OF THE COURT:

Because the appellant J.R. has failed to file a pro se brief as provided by this court's order of December 2, 2016, this appeal is dismissed for failure to prosecute.

The Department of Children and Families' motion to dismiss, which is joined by the Guardian ad Litem Program, is denied as moot.
