Jordan v. Jordan

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Mar 19, 1976
328 So. 2d 376 (La. 1976)

Opinion

No. 57664.

March 19, 1976.

In re: Byron Patrick Jordan applying for certiorari, or writ of review, to the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit, Parish of Jefferson.

Writ denied. There is no showing that the award infringes upon Civil Code Article 160.

SUMMERS, J., dissents from the denial, being of the opinion that an open-ended judgment like that in the instant case violates the limitation on alimony prescribed by Article 160 of the Civil Code.
