EDWARD K. JOHNSON v. JAMES E. STEWART

Appealed from Caddo Parish No. 641,775

Before STONE, STEPHENS, and MARCOTTE, JJ.

ORDER

The appellee's motion to supplement the appellate record is hereby granted. The clerk of the district court is directed to supplement the appeal record with duplicate certified copies of the September 20, 2023, hearing transcript and the judgment signed September 20, 2023, within 30 days of the date of this order. Briefing is hereby suspended and will be reissued upon completion of the record.

STEPHENS, J., would deny. This civil matter is on appeal from the trial court's January 30, 2023, judgment denying the appellant's petition seeking mandamus relief. The appellee has moved to supplement the appellate record with a September 20, 2023, hearing transcript and judgment in this matter. The September 20, 2023, hearing and judgment were rendered subsequent to the judgment being appealed; therefore, the appellee's motion to supplement is denied.
