Before the Court is the State's motion styled State's Request for Appointing Successor Attorney Pro Tem. The motion requests that former Tarrant County District Attorney Sharen Wilson be removed as Dallas County criminal district attorney pro tem and that Phil Sorrels, the current Tarrant County District Attorney, be appointed as attorney pro tem for this case. The Court ORDERS the trial court, the Honorable Amber Givens, Presiding Judge, 282nd Judicial District Court, to rule on the State's motion and to transmit to this Court a supplemental clerk's record containing the order on the State's motion within FIFTEEN DAYS of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order and the State's motion to the Honorable Amber Givens, Presiding Judge, 282nd Judicial District Court; Sharen Wilson; Phil Sorrels, Tarrant County District Attorney; and Bradrick J. Collins, attorney for appellant.

We ABATE the appeal to allow the trial court to comply with this order. The appeal shall be reinstated when the Court receives the trial court's order on the State's motion or at such other time as the Court deems appropriate.
