Mark Alan Jochumsen Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

MAURICE B. FOLEY, CHIEF JUDGE

On July 18, 2021, a petition was filed, at docket No. 14951-21, challenging the notice of deficiency dated April 19, 2021, issued to petitioner for tax year 2018. On July 19, 2021, a second petition was filed, at docket No. 14967-21S, challenging the same deficiency notice issued to petitioner for 2018.

An examination of the records in the cases at docket Nos. 14951-21S and 14967-21S discloses that those two cases are duplicative in that they involve the same deficiency notice issued to petitioner for 2018. Accordingly, on its own motion, the Court will close the case at docket No. 14951-21S as duplicative of the case at docket No. 14967-21S. The foregoing considered and for cause, it is

ORDERED that the Court, on its own motion, shall close the case at docket No. 14951-21S as duplicative of the case at docket No. 14967-21S.
