ORDER
On April 20, 2017, this court notified court reporter Leticia Murillo Escamilla that she is the court reporter responsible for timely filing a portion of the reporter's record in this appeal. We further notified Ms. Escamilla that the reporter's record had not been filed. We instructed her that the reporter's record must be filed by May 22, 2017.
On April 26, 2017, Ms. Escamilla advised the court by telephone call that she would file the reporter's record by May 22, 2017.
We ORDER court reporter Leticia Murillo Escamilla to file the record in this court not later than May 22, 2017.
If the reporter's record is not filed as ordered, this court will issue a show cause order directing Leticia Murillo Escamilla to appear on a day certain and show cause why she should not be held in contempt for failing to file the record as ordered. See Johnson v. State, 151 S.W.3d 193, 195-96 (Tex. Crim. App. 2004) (noting the court's previous action holding a court reporter in contempt for "repeatedly fail[ing] to prepare and file the record" and "order[ing] him incarcerated . . . until the record was finished").
We DIRECT the clerk of this court to cause a copy of this order to be served on Leticia Murillo Escamilla by certified mail, return receipt requested, with delivery restricted to addressee only, or give other personal notice of this order with proof of delivery.
