Brittani JACKSON, Appellant v. LODGE AT SHAVANO PARTNERS d/b/a The Lodge at Shavano Park, Appellee

From the County Court at Law No. 3, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023-CV-04505 Honorable David J. Rodriguez, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Rebeca C. Martinez, Chief Justice

Appellant Brittani Jackson's brief was originally due on December 21, 2023. On January 19, 2024, appellant, who is proceeding pro se, filed a motion for an extension of time to file her brief. On January 22, 2024, we granted appellant's motion and ordered appellant's brief due on February 19, 2024. To date, appellant has not filed a brief. Appellant is therefore ORDERED to file, within ten days from the date of this order, her brief and a written response reasonably explaining: (1) her failure to timely file a brief, and (2) why appellee is not significantly injured by appellant's failure to timely file a brief. If appellant fails to timely file a brief and the written response, we will dismiss this appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b)-(c).
