Inmon v. Florida Comm

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District
Feb 15, 2007
948 So. 2d 814 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2007)

Opinion

No. 1D06-1798.

January 5, 2007. Rehearing Denied February 15, 2007.

An appeal from the Circuit Court for Leon County. Thomas H. Bateman, III, Judge.

William G. Inmon, pro se, Appellant.

Charlie Crist, Attorney General; Kim Fluharty, General Counsel, and Bradley R. Bischoff, Assistant General Counsel, Florida Parole Commission, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

This is an appeal from an order denying a petition for writ of mandamus and denying a motion contesting the lien imposed on appellant's prison account. We affirm without discussion the denial of the petition for writ of mandamus, but reverse the order imposing the lien. See Schmidt v. Crusoe, 878 So.2d 361 (Fla. 2003); Banks v. McDonough, 943 So.2d 851 (Fla. 1st DCA 2006).

ALLEN and WOLF, JJ., ERVIN, III, RICHARD W., Senior Judge, concur.
