IN RE RONNIE ZUNIGA, Relator

Writ of Mandamus Dismissed, Opinion issued February 22, 2012

Original Proceeding from the 265th Judicial District Court

Dallas County, Texas

Trial Court Cause No. F02-56024-R

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Before Justices Morris, Richter, and Lang-Miers

Opinion by Justice Morris

Before the Court is relator's petition for writ of mandamus complaining that he received ineffective assistance of counsel and that his judgment and sentence are void. The facts and issues are well known to the parties, so we need not recount them herein. This Court does not have mandamus jurisdiction over the issues raised by relator with respect to his felony conviction. See In re Gradney, No. 14-11-00465-CR, 2011 WL 2362391, at *1 (Tex. App.-Houston [14th Dist.] June 9, 2011, orig. proceeding). Accordingly, we DISMISS relator's petition for a writ of mandamus for want of jurisdiction.

JOSEPH B. MORRIS

JUSTICE
