MEMORANDUM OPINION
Alina Yancey filed an original mandamus proceeding complaining of the trial court's May 16, 2017 order denying the Texas Attorney General's motion to transfer venue. On September 13, 2017, this Court conditionally granted Yancey's petition and directed Respondent to vacate his May 16 order and issue an order severing and transferring the case as to H.P. and L.P. to Smith County. By an order signed on September 18, Respondent has complied with this Court's opinion and order, rendering this proceeding moot. Accordingly, we dismiss Yancey's petition for writ of mandamus as moot. Opinion delivered September 29, 2017.

ON THIS DAY came to be heard the petition for writ of mandamus filed by Alina Yancey; who is the relator in Cause No. 2012-09-444-CL, pending on the docket of the County Court at Law of Rusk County, Texas. Said petition for writ of mandamus having been filed herein on July 18, 2017, and the same having been duly considered, because it is the opinion of this Court that the writ should not issue, it is therefore CONSIDERED, ADJUDGED and ORDERED that the said petition for writ of mandamus be, and the same is, hereby dismissed as moot.
