MOTION FOR EXPEDITED ADMISSION PRO HAC VICE OF RICHARD W. BECKLER
Pursuant to Rule 1.3(c) of the Local Rules of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Richard W. Beckler hereby requests that the Court enter an expedited order granting him admission to appear pro hac vice in the above-captioned case on behalf of defendant Clifford L. Alexander, Jr., which is scheduled to begin jury selection on March 17, 2005. In support of this Motion, Mr. Beckler states as follows:
1. I, Richard W. Beckler, am a Partner of the law firm of Howrey Simon Arnold White, LLP in its office located at 1299 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004.
2. I am a member in good standing of the State Bar of the District of Columbia, Connecticut, and New York. Attached are Certificates of Good Standing, issued within the last 30 days from each Bar.
3. I have never been disciplined or disbarred by any Bar or any Court.
4. I have obtained a copy and have familiarized myself with the Local Rules of Practice of this Court.
5. I agree to abide by the rules of this Court as provided by such Rules and applicable law.
WHEREFORE, the undersigned requests that the Court enter an order granting him admission to this Court to appear as additional counsel pro hac vice on behalf of Defendant Clifford Alexander Jr.
