IN RE John Bernard WILLIAMS III

From the 186th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2019CR6240 Honorable Jefferson Moore, Judge Presiding

Sitting: Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice Beth Watkins, Justice Lori I. Valenzuela, Justice

ORDER

PER CURIAM

On April 19, 2023, this court issued an opinion denying relator's pro se petition for writ of mandamus. On May 8, 2023, relator filed a pro se "Motion for (Temporary) Stay of Proceedings," which this court denied on May 23, 2023. On May 12, 2023, relator filed a pro se motion for rehearing, which this court denied on May 23, 2023. On June 5, 2023, this court received a pro se "Appellant [sic] Brief" from relator. On June 7, 2023, this court issued an order informing relator we would not consider his brief and discouraging him from filing or attempting to file future pleadings in this cause.

On June 23, 2023, relator-claiming he is an "appellant" and not a "relator"-filed a "Pro-se Motion for Rehearing to Amend," in which he states this court "wrongfully filed" his appellant's brief as a "relator" brief. Therefore, he contends "a correction must be made regarding the brief." Because relator filed his "Appellant [sic] Brief" in this original proceeding, which was disposed of on April 19, 2023, and not in a pending regular appeal, his motion is DENIED.

It is so ORDERED.
