IN RE VOLUNTARY PILOT PROGRAM FOR APPELLATE MEDIATION IN THE ARKANSAS COURT OF APPEALS

On December 13, 2007, this court by per curiam opinion, upon the recommendation of an exploratory committee, implemented a voluntary pilot program for appellate mediation in the court of appeals. See In re: Establishment of a Voluntary Pilot Program for Appellate Mediation in the Arkansas Court of Appeals, 372 Ark. App'x 591 (2007). The pilot program was funded by a $20,000 grant from the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.

Today, the court announces the pilot program will conclude as of December 31, 2017. The unused portion of the grant funds shall be remitted to the Commission. We would like to thank the mediation coordinator Jennifer Taylor, the exploratory committee, and all who participated in the pilot program.
