Summary of Misconduct:
Mr. Uwechia, who was licensed in 1989, was censured and ordered to attend the Professionalism Seminar of the Illinois Professional Responsibility Institute. He neglected a civil matter and failed to cooperate with the disciplinary investigation.
Order of the Court:
The petition by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to impose discipline on consent pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 762(b) is allowed. Respondent Chuka B. Uwechia is censured and directed to attend the professionalism seminar conducted by the Illinois Professional Responsibility Institute within one year of the entry of the order of discipline.
