DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT
Motion by Sandra Mara Sands for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Sands was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on February 19, 1997. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated February 14, 2011, Ms. Sands was suspended from the practice of law pursuant to 22 NYCRR 691.4(1)(1)(ii) and (iii). By opinion and order of this Court dated December 27, 2011, Ms. Sands was disbarred upon her resignation, effective immediately, and her name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Sandra Mara Sands does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
