IN RE RICARDO RAMIREZ, Relator

Original Proceeding from the Criminal District Court No. 1 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F09-31011

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Before Justices Francis, Brown, and Whitehill
Opinion by Justice Brown

Before the Court are relator's June 22, 2017 petition for writ of mandamus and July 6, 2017 motion to dismiss proceeding as moot. In his petition, relator sought a writ directing the trial court to rule on relator's request for appointment of counsel. Relator asks the Court to dismiss this proceeding because the trial court has made the ruling he requested. We grant relator's motion to dismiss and dismiss this proceeding. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1).
