IN THE INTEREST OF P.H., A CHILD

On Appeal from the 196th Judicial District Court Hunt County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 89,795

ORDER

BILL PEDERSEN, III JUSTICE

Before the Court is appellant's October 3, 2022 motion for a seven-day extension of time to file his brief. We GRANT the motion and ORDER the brief be filed no later than October 10, 2022. Because this is an accelerated appeal in a parental termination case and the brief was first due August 11, 2022, we caution appellant that failure to file the brief by October 10 may result in an order for the trial court to conduct a hearing to determine why the brief has not been filed and to take such measures as may be necessary to assure effective representation, including appointment of new counsel.
