IN THE MATTER OF THE PETITION OF JOSEPH A. CRONE

ORDER

Joseph A. Crone has petitioned the Court to waive the three-year test requirement for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) for purposes of Crone's application for admission by motion to the State Bar of Montana. By rule. applicants for admission by motion must provide evidence of the requisite score on an MPRE taken ``within three years preceding the date of the application for admission." Rule IV.A.3, Rules of Admission.

Crone was required to take the MPRE when originally seeking his license to practice law in Tennessee in 2013, and again in 2015 when seeking his license to practice law in Mississippi and ultimately passed both exams. Crone is in good standing with the State Bar of Tennessee and State Bar of Mississippi. The petition states that Crone has "practiced law continuously since 2015 as a criminal defense and civil litigation attorney for over five (5) years, without any disciplinary action in any jurisdiction where licensed or admitted to practice law." Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition of Joseph A. Crone to waive the three-year test requirement for the MPRE for purposes of Crone's current application for admission by motion to the State Bar of Montana is GRANTED.

The Clerk shall mail a copy of this order to Petitioner and to the Administrator of the Board of Bar Examiners at the State Bar of Montana.
