IN RE J. MICHAEL MOORE

On Petition for Writ of Mandamus.

ORDER

Before Justices Benavides, Longoria, and Tijerina
OrderPer Curiam

Relator J. Michael Moore filed a petition for writ of mandamus in the above cause on January 7, 2021. Relator requests that the Court issue a writ of mandamus "ordering the Honorable Judge Fernando Mancias to vacate his ex parte Order of Transfer of December 16, 2020, transferring this case to himself" and issue a writ of prohibition preventing Judge Mancias "from interfering with the jurisdiction of the duly assigned Judge of the 92nd Judicial District Court . . . ."

The Court, having examined and fully considered the petition for writ of mandamus, is of the opinion that all trial court proceedings should be STAYED pending further order of this Court. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.10(b). The Court requests that the real parties in interest, Marco A. Cantu a/k/a Mark Cantu, Roxanne Cantu a/k/a Roxana Cantu, Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez, and Hidalgo County Assistant District Attorney Juan L. Villescas, or any others whose interest would be directly affected by the relief sought, file a response to the petition for writ of mandamus on or before the expiration of ten days from the date of this order. See id. R. 52.2, 52.4, 52.8.

IT IS SO ORDERED.

PER CURIAM Delivered and filed on the 11th day of January, 2021.
