MEMORANDUM OPINION
The underlying case is Clyde A. Wilson, Jr., Trustee for the Wilson 1989 Children's Trusts v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, as successor-in-interest to NewEngland Mutual Life Insurance Company, Metlife Group, Inc., as successor-in-interest to New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, and Larry Stegent, CauseNo. 2008-59556, in the 189th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas, theHon. William R. Burke, presiding.
By petition for writ of mandamus, relators, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Metlife Group, Inc., seek relief compelling the trial court to vacate its order denying Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.'s and Metlife Group, Inc.'s motion to stay. Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Metlife Group, Inc. also seek mandamus relief compelling the trial court to sign an order staying the underlying lawsuit pending adjudication of a motion to enjoin filed in Massachusetts.
We deny the petition for writ of mandamus.
