IN MEMORY OF JUDGE DAVID M. GLOVER


Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge David M. Glover passed away on March 23, 2019. Judge Glover received a B.A. from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville in 1966. He graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1969. He enlisted in the United States Army Reserve and was honorably discharged on July 31, 1975. Judge Glover practiced law in Malvern for thirty-four years. He also served as an assistant attorney general, a deputy prosecuting attorney for Hot Spring County, a city attorney in Malvern, and a Hot Spring County district judge. In 1989, he was elected president of the Arkansas Bar Association and served with distinction. Judge Glover was first elected to the Arkansas Court of Appeals in 2004, where he continued to serve for the rest of his life.

Judge Glover was a fair and impartial jurist who was deeply committed to justice, his community, and his family. He was a keen legal thinker, able to analyze complex issues with clarity and conviction. He will be remembered as an amiable colleague, a wonderful conversationalist, and a loyal friend. Judge Glover will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We commend Judge Glover for his service to the legal profession and the citizens of Arkansas. We also extend our deepest condolences to his family.
