Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Jones, who was licensed in 1989, was suspended for three years and until further order of the Court. He neglected 20 cases relating to 18 clients, made false statements to his clients regarding the status of their legal matters, failed to return unearned fees, made a false statement to a tribunal, and failed to cooperate with the disciplinary authority.


Order of the Court:

The petition by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to impose discipline on consent pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 762(b) is allowed, and respondent Vincent R. Jones is suspended from the practice of law for three years and until further order of the Court.
