Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause Nos. 2016-CI-19435 and 2016-CI-19446, styled In the Interest of E.J., S.J., A.J., and E.J., Children, pending in the 225th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Peter Sakai presiding.

ORDER

On February 9, 2017, Real Parties in Interest filed several motions with this court. The court has considered the motions and rules as follows: Real Parties in Interest's motion to require Relators to rebrief or refile Relators' first amended petition for writ mandamus is GRANTED; Real Parties in Interest's motion to require Relators to file a record and require Relators to revise the appendix to the amended petition for writ of mandamus is GRANTED; Real Parties in Interest's motion to extend Real Parties in Interest's time to file a response to the amended petition for writ of mandamus is GRANTED; and Real Parties in Interest's motion to reconsider this court's order granting temporary relief is DENIED.

Relators are ORDERED to file an amended petition for writ of mandamus within ten days of the date of this order. The amended petition must: (1) contain citations to the appendix or record for every statement of fact as required by Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure 52.3(g) and (h); (2) include a certification pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.3(j); (3) include a certificate of compliance pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.4(i)(3); (4) comply with the typeface requirements of Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.4(e); (5) include complete certified or sworn copies of all documents attached as an appendix to the petition for writ of mandamus pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.3(k); and (5) contain bookmarks as required by Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 9.4(h). Relators are further ordered to file a record pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.7.

Real Parties in Interest must file any response to the amended petition for writ of mandamus no later than ten days after the date the amended petition is filed.

It is so ORDERED on February 24, 2017.
