IN THE INTEREST OF E.W.M., A CHILD

On Appeal from the 219th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 219-53699-2018

ORDER

This appeal was filed by appellant pro se, and he has filed his opening brief. On June 9, 2020, we consolidated a petition for writ of mandamus that had been filed by counsel, Craig Jackson, on behalf of appellant into this appeal.

By letter dated June 22, 2020, Mr. Jackson informs the Court that he is now representing appellant in the appeal and will be filing an appellate brief on behalf of appellant. Accordingly, we DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to designate Mr. Jackson as lead counsel for appellant and STRIKE appellant's June 2, 2020 pro se brief. See In re Sondley, 990 S.W.2d 361, 362 (Tex. App.—Amarillo 1999, orig. proceeding) (per curiam) (party in civil case not entitled to hybrid representation). We ORDER a new appellant's brief be filed no later than July 22, 2020 and RESET the deadline for appellee's brief and response to the mandamus petition to thirty days after the filing of appellant's brief.
