LC No. 20-000500-NA

Noah P. Hood Presiding Judge Brock A. Swartzle James Robert Redford Judges

ORDER

On the Court's own motion, pursuant to MCR 7.216(A)(7), the Court orders that this case be CONSOLIDATED with the claim of appeal filed in docket no. 364920.

On December 29, 2022, this Court vacated the June 15, 2022 order terminating parental rights and remanded for the trial court to address how the termination order is consistent with In re Plump, 294 Mich.App. 270; 817 N.W.2d 119 (2011). This Court retained jurisdiction. On remand, the trial court entered an order again terminating respondent-appellant's parental rights and the claim of appeal in docket no. 364920 was filed from that order.

Given the limited scope of the remand proceedings, the Court orders that respondent-appellant shall file appellant's brief in docket no. 364920 within 14 days of the clerk's certification of this order. Appellees may each file an appellee's brief within 14 days of service of appellant's brief. The parties' briefs may not exceed 20 pages, but shall comply with MCR 7.212(B)-(D) in all other respects. The clerk is directed to submit the consolidated appeals to this panel for decision without oral argument after the time for filing an appellee's brief has run. MCR 7.214(E).
