Appellant has filed a motion to supplement the clerk's record and a motion for extension of time to file a brief. Appellant's counsel states much of the file was excluded from the clerk's record that was filed on June 29, 2016. Counsel requested additional documents to be included in a supplemental clerk's record and many documents were not included in the supplemental clerk's record filed on July 13, 2016. Counsel claims he contacted the District Clerk's office but has not been assured that supplemental documents will be filed.
This is an accelerated appeal with an accelerated deadline for the Court to dispose of the appeal; therefore, it is imperative that the record be timely filed. Accordingly, we order the Harris County District Clerk to scan the entire file in this cause and to file those documents in a supplemental clerk's record on or before August 10, 2016.
Appellant's brief is due 20 days after the supplemental clerk's record is filed.
