IN THE INTEREST OF H.N.E., A CHILD

From the 414th District Court McLennan County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2011-1672-5

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Yvette Narro appeals from an order in a suit to modify the parent-child relationship signed on September 21, 2017. By letter dated October 13, 2017, the Clerk of this Court notified Narro that her original filing fee for the appeal was past due. Narro was warned in the same letter that, unless she obtained indigent status under the applicable rules, the fee had to be paid, and the failure to pay the filing fee within 14 days from the date of the letter would result in the appeal being dismissed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(c). More than 14 days have passed, and Narro has failed to pay the filing fee.

Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed. Id.

In addition to the fee issue, the Court had concerns about whether there was an appealable order and whether the notice of appeal was timely. Due to the nature of the Court's disposition of this proceeding, we need not resolve those issues.
