Opinion

No. 05-07-00139-CV

Opinion Filed March 12, 2007.

On Appeal from the 417th Judicial District Court, Collin County, Texas, Trial Court Cause No. 417-50801-05.

Before Justices WHITTINGTON, FRANCIS, and LANG.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

In this appeal, appellant challenges the trial court's order of termination of his parental rights. The trial court signed an order terminating appellant's parental rights on August 15, 2006. Appellant's notice of appeal was due September 5, 2006. Tex. R. App. P. 26.1(b). Appellant filed his notice of appeal on January 29, 2007. In response to our letter questioning our jurisdiction over the appeal, appellant's attorney concedes the pro se notice of appeal was untimely and the Court otherwise lacks jurisdiction over the appeal.

Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal for want of jurisdiction.
