Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2016-CI-07344, styled Smiley-Kaliff v. Gregory, pending in the 408th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Larry Noll presiding. --------

ORDER

Sitting: Karen Angelini, Justice Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice Luz Elena D. Chapa, Justice

On May 2, 2016, relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus and motion for emergency relief. In his motion for emergency relief, relator prays this court stay the enforcement of a temporary restraining order issued by the trial court on April 29, 2016, and stay the temporary injunction hearing scheduled in this case for May 5, 2016. Real party-in-interest filed a response to the motion.

Relator's request for temporary relief is GRANTED. Enforcement of the trial court's temporary restraining order and the pending temporary injunction hearing are STAYED pending final resolution of the petition for writ of mandamus.

It is so ORDERED on May 4, 2016.
