Lance Granmayeh has filed a petition for writ of mandamus challenging the trial court's May 4, 2017 order granting a new trial in the underlying custody modification action. In conjunction with the petition, Granmayeh filed a motion requesting a temporary stay of the underlying proceedings. We grant the motion for temporary relief and stay (1) commencement of the new trial, (2) the October 4, 2017 hearing scheduled to consider temporary orders affecting custody and interim attorney's fees; and (3) any further consideration of temporary orders affecting custody, and any consideration of interim fees.
The Court requests that real party in interest file a response to the petition for writ of mandamus by no later than October 18, 2017.
