In the MATTER OF Gerald GORDON, An Attorney At Law (Attorney No. 266011971)


ORDER

This matter having been duly presented to the Court by the Director of the Office of Attorney Ethics and with the consent of Gerald Gordon through his attorney-in-fact on the application to transfer Gerald Gordon, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1971, to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-12(e);

And the Office of Attorney Ethics and respondent through his attorney-in-fact having agreed that respondent lacks the capacity to practice law and that he should be transferred to disability inactive status in accordance with Rule 1:20-12 (e);

And good cause appearing; It is ORDERED that Gerald Gordon is hereby transferred to disability inactive status pursuant to Rule 1:20-12 (e), effective immediately, and until the further Order of the Court; and it is further

ORDERED that pursuant to Rule 1:20-12(e), all disciplinary proceedings pending against respondent shall be deferred while respondent remains on disability inactive status and until further Order of the Court; and it is further

ORDERED that Gerald Gordon is hereby restrained from practicing law during the period that he remains on disability inactive status; and it is further

ORDERED that Gerald Gordon comply will Rule 1:20-20 governing incapacitated attorneys.
