Trial court: 313th District Court of Harris County Trial court case number: 2023-00904J

ORDER

SARAH BETH LANDAU JUDGE

Relator, the father of the children at issue in the underlying proceeding, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus challenging the trial court's (1) Temporary Orders Following Full Adversary Hearing as to the Child, F.A.D., and (2) Temporary Orders Following Full Adversary Hearing as to the Children, A.D., E.D., S.D., E.D., and S.D., both signed on July 5, 2023.

In conjunction with the petition, relator has filed a Motion for Emergency Temporary Relief and For Expedited Consideration, requesting that our Court (1) stay all proceedings in the underlying case pending our decision on the mandamus petition and (2) grant expedited consideration of the mandamus petition. We deny relator's request for a stay of proceedings but grant expedited consideration of the mandamus petition.

The Court requests that real parties in interest file a response to the mandamus petition by no later than July 31, 2023.
