IN THE INTEREST OF E.C., A CHILD

On Appeal from the 255th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DF-19-18590.

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III, CHIEF JUSTICE.

The reporter's record in this appeal has not been filed. It was first due on February 23, 2023. When it had not been filed by February 27, 2023, we notified court reporters LaToya Young-Martinez and Joie Rivera by postcard that the record was due and directed them to file it within thirty days. When the record had not been filed by May 2, 2023, we ordered it be filed by May 22, 2023.

On May 3, 2023, Ms. Rivera informed the Court that Ms. Young-Martinez was the reporter responsible for the record and, following an extension request by Ms. Young-Martinez, we ordered the record be filed by June 9, 2023.

By letter filed June 16, 2023, Ms. Young-Martinez now seeks an extension to June 23, 2023, explaining she is "working to get it completed." We GRANT the request and ORDER the record be filed no later than June 23, 2023. Because the record was first due February 23, 2023, we caution Ms. Young-Martinez that failure to file the record by June 23, 2023 will result in the Court taking whatever action it deems necessary, including ordering that she not sit, to ensure the record is filed.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Vonda Bailey, Presiding Judge of the 255th Judicial District Court; Ms. Rivera; Ms. Young-Martinez; and, the parties.
