APPEALED FROM 349TH DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR HOUSTON COUNTY, TEXAS

ORDER

In examining the clerk's record herein, it appears that the notices sent in accordance with the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) may not have also been forwarded to the appropriate regional directors as required by 25 C.F.R. § 23.11(a), (b).

Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the trial court shall, on or before January 28, 2022, cause copies of the ICWA notices to be sent, by registered or certified mail with return receipt requested, to the appropriate regional directors.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a supplemental clerk's record, including the forwarded notices and return receipts, be certified to this Court on or before February 25, 2022.
