On Appeal from the 302nd Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DF-14-07021

ORDER

ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE

Before the Court is appellants' October 9, 2023 motion to abate the appeal. Appellants explain that the appellate record is incomplete and ask that we abate the appeal pending the filing of a supplemental clerk's record and the reporter's record of three additional hearings. The requested supplemental clerk's record was filed on October 6, 2023. We GRANT the motion as follows. We ORDER Official Court Reporter Melva Key to file, on or before October 31, 2023, the reporter's records of the hearings conducted on October 22, 2021, June 29, 2022, and November 29, 2022.

We note that appellants filed, on May 11, 2023, a written request addressed to Ms. Key for the records of the June 29, 2022 and November 29, 2022 hearings. The request is included in the supplemental clerk's record.

Appellants' brief on the merits will be due within thirty days after the requested reporter's records are filed. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a)(2).

We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to the Honorable Sandra Jackson, Official Court Reporter for the 302nd Judicial District Court; Ms. Key; and, all parties.
