This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2022-CI-06388, styled Irma Cevallos v. Janet Crist, pending in the 225th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Christine Vasquez-Hortick presiding.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

On May 8, 2023, relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus and a motion for temporary relief seeking to stay the trial. This court is of the opinion that a serious question concerning the relief requested requires further consideration. Therefore, the real party in interest and the respondent may file a response to the petition on or before May 23, 2023. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(B). ANY SUCH RESPONSE MUST CONFORM TO TEXAS RULE OF APPELLATE PROCEDURE 52.4.

It is ORDERED that relator's motion for temporary relief is GRANTED. The trial of this matter set for May 10, 2023, is STAYED pending final disposition of the petition. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.10.

It is so ORDERED.
