ORDER
PER CURIAM
This is an accelerated appeal from a judgment terminating the parental rights of L.L.R. and M.L. Both L.L.R. and M.L. have appealed the judgment. This type of appeal must be disposed of by this court within 180 days of the date the notice of appeal was filed. Tex. R. Jud. Admin. 6.2.
On April 20, 2023, trial counsel for appellant M.L. filed a motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief pending the appointment of appellate counsel to represent M.L. On May 1, 2023, the trial court appointed Mr. Shawn Sheffield to represent M.L. in this appeal and ordered trial counsel to notify Mr. Sheffield of his appointment within twenty-four hours. On May 11, 2023, the Department filed a motion for extension of time to file its responsive briefs together, seeking to extend the time for filing both briefs to twenty days after appellant M.L. filed his brief.
We note the trial court clerk did not file the supplemental clerk's record containing the order appointing Mr. Sheffield until May 18, 2023.
We GRANT appellant M.L.'s motion for an extension of time to file his brief. M.L.'s brief is due on or before May 23, 2023.
We GRANT the Department's motion for an extension of time to file its responsive briefs as follows. The Department's responsive briefs as to both L.L.R. and M.L. are due on or before June 12, 2023.
Given the time constraints governing the disposition of this appeal, further requests for extensions of time will be disfavored.
