ORDER
In an order dated January 12, 2016, the Court ordered pro-se appellant to file an amended brief by January 26, 2016 that includes record references and citations to the record. Before the Court is appellant's January 14, 2016 motion to reconsider that order. Appellant explains in his motion that he has made several attempts to access the clerk's record at the Collin County Clerk's Office. The Collin County Clerk's Office has denied him access to the record for the stated reason that he is not a member of the bar. Appellant asks this Court to allow him to cite to the appendix in his amended brief.
On January 15, 2016, appellant contacted the Clerk of this Court regarding the clerk's record and was informed that he can obtain a free copy of the clerk's record and reporter's record on disc. Appellant indicated he would come to the Court and obtain a copy of the record.
On the Court's own motion, we extend the time for appellant to file an amended brief to FEBRUARY 18, 2016. We DENY appellant's motion as moot.
We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to Stacey Kemp, Collin County Clerk, appellant, and counsel for appellee.
