In the Matter of Thomas M. Barron, An Attorney At Law (Attorney No. 010661975)


ORDER

The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 21-113, concluding that Thomas M. Barron of Moorestown, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1975, should be reprimanded for violating RPC 1.1 (a) (gross neglect), RPC 1.3 (lack of diligence), RPC 1.4 (b) (failure to keep client reasonably informed about the status of a matter and to comply with reasonable requests for information), and RPC 1.5 (b) (failure to set forth in writing the basis or rate of the legal fee);

And the Disciplinary Review Board having determined that respondent should be required to attend psychological counseling and provide to the Office of Attorney Ethics proof of attendance as well as proof of fitness to practice law;

And good cause appearing; It is ORDERED that Thomas M. Barron is hereby reprimanded; and it is further

ORDERED that Thomas M. Barron shall provide proof of his fitness to 1 practice law as attested to by a mental health professional approved by the Office of Attorney Ethics, within sixty days after the filing of this Order; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent participate in psychological counseling and provide to the Office of Attorney Ethics quarterly reports documenting his continued counseling, for a period of two years and until the further Order of the Court; and it is further

ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent's file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
